Job summary

BRAM Auto Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Counter associate for our Cadillac of Manhattan location in New York, NY. You will provide parts solutions to retail and wholesale customers at the counter or by phone, using CDK and other tools to ensure accurate pricing and availability.

You will join a team that emphasizes customer care, high energy, and a positive consumer experience. Prior dealership parts experience and GM parts knowledge are preferred, with training available for

Qualifications

• Experience in auto parts sales or counter operation preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of dealership parts and GM wholesale is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers at the counter or over the phone.
• Assist teammates with customer questions using parts knowledge.
• Deliver outstanding customer care and a positive store experience.

We are looking for an experienced Parts Counter Person for our Cadillac of Manhattan location!

What you will be doing:

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for our retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter/over the phone
• Use your parts knowledge to assist other team members answer questions for customers
• Providing outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who comes into our Store!
• Bring customer focus and high energy to our fast-paced stores
• Welcome retail customers into our retail stores and engage to provide a positive consumer experience
• Use technology (computer), telephone, and Web-Based Catalog System .
• Provide parts pricing and availability to our customers.
• Make accurate selections of parts needed for customer demand.
• Follow management requests and instructions. **PAY DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE LEVEL

What you’ll need:

• Previous Parts Experience at a dealership is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Previous wholesale experience with GM parts preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great listening skills and empathy for customers
• Ability to adapt and maintain composure under certain circumstances.
• Bring solutions and problem-solving skills
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Work in a team environment and collaborate with others
• ASE Certifications a plus
• Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision.
• Knowledge of Dealership Management System, CDK a plus.
• Entirely customer-centric (external/internal)
