Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers. The role supports store management, greets customers, assists with merchandise selection, and helps with professional customers.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and will handle daily cash duties and store operations within policy. The position involves stocking, planogram updates, occasional deliveries, and in-store services (where allowed).

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Greet retail and walk-in customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Assist managers and/or installer service specialists with professional customers.
• Answer store calls, lookup parts and quote prices, and promote related items.
• Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions accurately; process returns/exchanges.
• Maintain cash drawer securely and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Perform daily store tasks like stocking, planogram updates, and image maker duties.
• Offer in-store services (e.g., install wipers, test batteries) where allowed by state laws.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
