Nutley Kia, part of Generation Auto Group, is seeking a Parts Counterperson to support service technicians and retail customers by locating the right parts and providing accurate availability, pricing, and compatibility information. You will order, receive, and organize parts while maintaining the showroom and parts department.

The ideal candidate has Kia experience a plus, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive parts counter role preferred.
• Strong product knowledge and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-focused and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Kia experience a plus and Spanish-speaking a plus.

Responsibilities

• Order, receive, and distribute parts for service technicians and retail customers.
• Provide accurate information on parts availability, pricing, and vehicle compatibility.
• Process parts orders efficiently and accurately.
• Support timely repairs by coordinating with the service department.
• Process manufacturer and core returns as required.
• Organize, stock, and maintain parts inventory with proper labeling.
• Maintain clean, organized, and efficient parts department workspace.
• Collaborate with team to fulfill internal and external customer needs.
• Assist customers with purchases and inquiries in a professional manner.
• Maintain inventory levels and proper organization.

As a Parts Counterperson at Nutley Kia, part of the Generation Auto Group collection, you play a vital role in supporting our service operations by assisting technicians and customers with locating the correct parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance. This position requires strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.
