Job summary

Vanguard Kia is seeking a skilled auto body refinisher to join our Collision Center team. You will perform repair work, including paint, prep, refinish and buffing, following safety guidelines and shop procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of refinishing technician experience.
• ICAR certification required.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Fast, eager, and a team player.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational skills and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive body work as outlined on repair order.
• Apply paint, prep, refinish and buff as needed.
• Follow collision center safety guidelines and OSHA rules.
• Work with management to complete repairs per estimated cost.
• Identify and complete repairs correctly the first time.
• Minimize re-work and delays in production.
• Adhere to Vanguard guidelines and act with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Perform the automotive body work needed as outlined on repair order.
• Have a skill set for paint, prep, refinish and buffing.
• Understand and follow Collision Center safety guidelines, comply with OSHA specifications, wear and maintain appropriate safety equipment
• Work with management to perform repairs based on the estimated cost
• Identify and complete repairs effectively the first time, to minimize re-work and delay in production.
• Work in ways that decrease the possibility of injury to yourself or other team members in the shop
• Adhere to Vanguardguidelines, policies and practices and acting ethically and with integrity at all times and with all employees.
