Vanguard Auto Group in Sherman, TX is seeking a skilled automotive refinishing technician to join our Collision Center team. You will perform body work, refinishing, painting prep, and buffing on vehicles on a growth-focused shop.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years refinish technician experience.
• ICAR Certification.
• Strong and dependable work ethic.
• Fast, eager and a team player.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to perform immediate task within target time frame.
• Clean driving record & valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform the automotive body work needed as outlined on repair order.
• Have a skill set for paint, prep, refinish and buffing.
• Follow collision center safety guidelines, OSHA standards, and wear required safety equipment.
• Work with management to perform repairs based on the estimated cost.
• Identify and complete repairs correctly the first time to minimize rework.
• Work safely to reduce risk of injury to teammates.
• Adhere to Vanguard guidelines, policies and integrity at all times.
