Job summary

Vanguard Auto Group is seeking a skilled refinish technician to join our Collision Center in a fast-growing dealer group. With a minimum of 2 years in refinishing, you will paint, prep, refinish and buff surfaces, while following safety guidelines and quality standards.

The role supports a culture of teamwork and integrity, offering competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package. You will work with a dynamic team on an exciting growth trajectory, ensuring repairs are completed correctly

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years refinish technician experience.
• Strong and dependable work ethic.
• Fast, eager and a team player.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to perform immediate task within target time frame.
• Clean driving record & valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform the automotive body work needed as outlined on repair order.
• Have a skill set for paint, prep, refinish and buffing.
• Understand and follow Collision Center safety guidelines, comply with OSHA specifications, wear and maintain appropriate safety equipment
• Work with management to perform repairs based on the estimated cost
• Identify and complete repairs effectively the first time, to minimize re-work and delay in production.
• Work in ways that decrease the possibility of injury to yourself or other team members in the shop
• Adhere to Vanguardguidelines, policies and practices and acting ethically and with integrity at all times and with all employees.
