Vanguard GMC of Sherman is seeking a Paintless Dent Repair / Cosmetic Technician to join our auto dealership team. You will perform paintless dent repairs and cosmetic fixes on vehicles, ensuring high-quality results and coordination with the supervisor.

We offer comprehensive training and a supportive work culture. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of PDR experience, strong communication, and a drive to learn, with a clean driving record and valid license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Paint Dent Repair technician.
• Recon cosmetic techniques.
• Fast, eager and a team player.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to perform tasks within target time frame.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform paintless dent repairs using trained techniques and tools on small to mid-sized dents.
• Complete paintless dent removal and cosmetic repairs and review work with supervisor.
• Remove trim to access vehicle body and fenders.
• Repair minor dents and light hail damage as needed.
• Collaborate with management to accept or reject repairs based on cost and quality.
• Ensure work minimizes rework and delays in production.
• Follow safety guidelines to prevent injuries in the shop.

Responsibilities

Responsible for cosmetic and paint less dent repairs by using trained or aquired techniques and various tools on small to mid sized dents.

• Complete paint less dent removal and cosmetic repairs as necessary and review all completed work with supervisor.
• Removing trim to gain access to a vehicle’s body and fenders.
• Minor repairs such as small dents and light hail damage.
• Working with management to repair or reject inventory based on estimated cost of repairs and/or the overall quality of the vehicle.
• Identifying and completing repairs effectively the first time, to minimize re-work and delays in production.
• Work in ways that decrease the possibility of injury to yourself or other team members in the shop
• Adhere to Vanguardguidelines, policies and practices and acting ethically and with integrity at all times and with all employees.
