Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1 year related painting experience preferred.
• Ability to read plans or drawings and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prep units for paint: sanding, blocking, applying putty and visual inspection.
• Bodywork: fills, blocking, bodyline creation/movement.
• Disassemble and reassemble body components.
• Dent repair, including filler use.
• Metal finish and manipulation.
• Rub and polish exterior of transit.
• Mix body filler (Fiberglass, Bondo).
• Read plans/drawings; apply putty and paint as directed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with materials or techniques.
