Job summary

RIDE Coach and Bus in Lancaster, CA seeks an experienced painter to perform paint preparation and application on vehicles, following work instructions and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, masking, sanding, applying primers, enamels, polyurethane and epoxy, operating spray equipment, and maintaining the paint booth. Requires high school diploma and at least one year of related experience; candidates with 5 years in automotive painting preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year related experience preferred.
• 5 years’ experience painting in automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and follow engineering work instructions.
• Prepare surfaces: masking, sanding, blocking, and priming as directed.
• Mix and apply primers, polyurethane, epoxy and enamels using spray guns.
• Operate and maintain spray equipment and PPE; ensure paint booth readiness.
• Perform bodywork and cosmetic refinishing tasks as needed.
