Job summary

Summit Polymers is seeking a Utility, Molding to support manufacturing operations on the floor. The role reports to the Supervisor, Manufacturing (Molding) and involves routine, supervised work with independent scheduling within guidelines.

Responsibilities include material handling, hopper and equipment setup, and contributing to quality and productivity. The position requires a high school diploma and physical capability for lift and shift work.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from limited options.
• Must pass color hue and color vision test.
• Complete Wonderlic Select Assessment (traditional score 16).
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operates, fills, empties, and identifies pre-dried hoppers, grinders, and similar equipment.
• Ensure hoppers are refilled with proper material to avoid running empty.
• Maintain cartons and packing materials at work stations as needed.
• Assist in operating presses, including relief, set-up, color/material changes, and mold changes.
• Maintain general housekeeping and accurate productivity/defect data.
