Job summary

Pursuit is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business and build lasting relationships with automotive dealerships in the Greater San Diego market. The role involves selling a broad portfolio of media and marketing solutions across broadcast, digital, streaming, events, and custom content.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of automotive sales experience, a consultative mindset, and existing San Diego dealer connections.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive industry/sales experience preferred.
• Experience selling to automotive dealerships or working with automotive-focused companies.
• Comfortable building relationships with Owners and General Managers.
• Strong consultative sales approach and ability to think strategically beyond selling individual products.
• Existing automotive relationships in the San Diego market are a strong plus.
• Highly confident, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
• Willingness to spend significant time in the field and on the road (no overnight travel).

Responsibilities

• Build and grow relationships with automotive dealerships, dealer groups, Owners, and General Managers.
• Prospect and develop new business through lead lists, referrals, networking, and consistent in-person dealership visits.
• Consult with clients to understand their business goals and create customized marketing strategies.
• Present and sell integrated solutions across broadcast, digital, streaming, events, social, and custom content.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and manage opportunities through Salesforce.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative campaigns and deliver measurable results.
• Develop and nurture long-term client relationships while identifying opportunities for account growth.
