Placements24 is seeking motivated individuals for an Automotive Mechanical Apprenticeship in Welkom. Trainees will learn diagnostics, repair, and maintenance under master technicians, gaining hands-on experience across engines, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems.

Participants will receive comprehensive on‑the‑job training, mentorship from seasoned professionals, and an apprenticeship allowance as they build a career in automotive service and repair.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 certificate, preferably with Mathematics and Physical Science.
• Interest in vehicles and mechanical systems.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
• Commitment to learning and developing new skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Learn to perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations.
• Participate in the repair of engine, braking, and suspension systems.

• Maintain a clean and organized workshop.
