Placements24 client in Paarl is seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join a well-established workshop. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of vehicle makes and models, ensuring safety and quality workmanship to meet service schedules.

You should have proven experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The role offers health and safety training and overtime opportunities in a friendly workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and diagnostics.
• Relevant mechanical qualifications or certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, suspension, and brake system issues.
• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and repair manuals to accurately identify and fix faults.
• Replace worn or damaged parts with high-quality replacements.
