Placements24 is seeking motivated individuals for an Automotive Apprentice Technician role in Welkom. This apprenticeship offers hands-on learning across diagnostics, servicing, and repairs under master technicians in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) with passes in Mathematics and Physical Science preferred.
• Desire to learn automotive mechanics and work in a hands-on workshop.
• Good problem solving, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with vehicle diagnostics, inspections, and maintenance.
• Perform routine services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks.
• Learn to use diagnostic equipment and tools effectively.
• Disassemble, inspect, and repair engine, transmission, and other systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and manage tools.
• Document work performed accurately in the service system.
