Job Description

Automotive Mechanic/Technician

Pay: $26 - $40 per hour (based on experience and certifications; includes additional incentives)

This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining guest vehicles. You will undergo comprehensive training from day one, working as part of a team to deliver excellent guest experiences and ensure vehicle safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and other automotive repairs within your qualifications.
• Obtain guest approval for repairs based on diagnosis; maintain a clean work area.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Test drive vehicles and safely operate shop vehicles for inventory pickup.
• Collaborate and provide leadership to General Service Technicians.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years of automotive technician experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Own basic automotive tools or participate in the tool purchase program.
• Ability to work with hands overhead, stand long periods, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Guest and team-focused mindset.
• Maintain an Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license, where applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification in at least one of A1-A8.
• Automotive Technician State Inspector License.
• Technical school certificate/degree in automotive technology.
