Job Description

Automotive Mechanic/Technician

The pay range for this position is between $17.00 and $20.00 per hour guaranteed, based on experience, with flat rates between $25 and $40.

The Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining guest vehicles efficiently. Starting day 1, you'll participate in a comprehensive technician training program to prepare you for your role and future growth. As part of our team, you'll perform repairs on guest vehicles, contribute to delivering 5-star guest experiences, and ensure vehicle safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs within your qualifications.
• Secure guest approval for work after diagnosis and maintain a clean work area.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Test drive guest vehicles and safely use shop trucks for inventory pickup as needed.
• Collaborate with teammates and provide leadership to General Service Technicians.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years of automotive technician experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Own a basic set of automotive tools or participate in the tool purchase program.
• Ability to work overhead, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Guest and team-focused mindset.
• Maintain an Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license, if applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification in A1-A8.
• Automotive Technician State Inspector License.
• Automotive technical school certificate or degree.
