Job Title: Automotive Mechanic/Technician

Pay: $20 - $28 per hour. Compensation varies based on experience and certifications. Additional incentives are available.

This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining guest vehicles. You will undergo comprehensive training from day one, preparing you for a successful career at Monro. As part of our team, you will contribute to delivering a 5-star guest experience, ensuring safe and reliable transportation for our customers.

Responsibilities

1. Perform repairs and maintenance such as brakes, suspension, tire installation, diagnostics, and scheduled services within your qualifications.
2. Obtain guest approval for work based on diagnosis; maintain a clean work environment.
3. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs.
4. Test drive vehicles and use shop equipment safely for inventory pickup.
5. Collaborate and provide leadership to fellow technicians.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years of automotive technician experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Own basic automotive tools or participate in our tool purchase program.
• Ability to work overhead, stand long hours, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Guest and team-focused mindset.
• Maintain an Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license, if applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification (A1-A8).
• Automotive Technician State Inspector License.
• Technical school certificate or degree.
