Job Description

Automotive Mechanic/Technician

The pay range for this position is between $18.00 and $24.00 per hour guaranteed based on experience, with flat rates between $26 and $40.

As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining guests’ vehicles. You will begin with comprehensive training, preparing you for your role and future growth. Your work will help ensure our guests have safe, reliable transportation while delivering a 5-star guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs within your qualifications.
• Secure guest approval for work based on diagnosis; maintain a clean work area.
• Complete thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Test drive vehicles and use shop resources safely for inventory pickup.
• Collaborate with teammates and provide leadership to general service technicians.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive technician experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Own a basic set of automotive tools or participate in our tool purchase program
• Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods, and lift 50 lbs.
• Guest and team-focused mindset
• Maintain an Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license, where applicable

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification in at least one of A1-A8
• Automotive Technician State Inspector License
• Automotive technical school certificate/degree
