Job summary

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in the automotive mechanic trade.
• Or completion of an approved apprenticeship.
• Any combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledges, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle repairs: maintain and repair cars, trucks, tractors, and construction equipment.
• Preventative maintenance: oil changes, tune-ups, tire changes, major system adjustments.
• State inspections: official safety and emissions inspections and documentation.
• Diesel servicing: service diesel equipment and related components.
• Field work: provide emergency road service and on-site repairs when needed.
• Safety compliance: keep a clean workspace and follow safety procedures.
