Job summary

You will explain technical diagnoses to customers and co-workers, stay updated with evolving automotive tech, and mentor teammates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of automotive repair experience required.
• Section 609 Certification preferred.
• State Inspection license if applicable.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Pre-employment background check.
• Availability to work days/nights/holidays/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications (brake, hydraulic, exhaust, electrical, cooling, suspension, alignment).
• Perform duties of General Service Technician where applicable.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and staff.
• Continuously learn new automotive techniques and information.
• Assist other technicians in technical activities.
• Keep management informed of repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe shop.
• Adhere to company policies, safety, and environmental rules.
