• Technician positions pay weekly
• Hourly pay: $31.00 - $35.00 per hour
• Sign-on bonus: $1,750 at 30 days and $1,750 at 90 days

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or professional diploma preferred
• At least 4 years of combined classroom training and work experience
• Non-commercial driver license class E
• Valid CDL class A preferred
• State driver's license as required
• Ability to understand and follow company policies, work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate customer service skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Complete preventive maintenance and brake repairs within specified timeframes
• Additional training and certifications as specified, with timeframes
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, and background checks, including motor vehicle history

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance for non-contractual customers
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire changes, fluid checks, and basic repairs
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, and fuel system components
• Inspect, repair, and replace hydraulic brakes
• Operate mobile maintenance vehicles and travel as needed within the region
• Maintain knowledge of Torque products and services and represent the company professionally
• Use Salesforce and electronic documentation to record work accurately
• Perform environmental and safety duties according to guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned
