• Technician positions pay weekly
• Hourly pay: $31.00 - $35.00 per hour

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or professional diploma preferred
• 4+ years of combined classroom training and work experience
• Non-commercial driver license CLASS E
• Valid commercial driver license (CDL) CLASS A preferred
• State driver's license as required
• Ability to understand and follow company policies, build professional relationships, work independently and in teams, demonstrate customer service skills, and communicate effectively
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, and excellent in time management
• Complete preventive maintenance (PM230 & PM298) within 90 days
• Complete brake services (BA220 & BA298) within 90 days
• Hydraulic brake work (BH220 & BH298) where appropriate within 90 days
• Tire and wheel services (TW220) within 90 days
• CF609 & A/C training and certification (AC220 & AC298) within 180 days
• Battery charging, warranty work, HD electrical (DR208) within 90 days
• SBTIII support and SBT Phase 2 training within 180 days
• Complete minimum 2 OEM online engine courses
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent organizational skills

This position requires driving Ryder vehicles. To become a Ryder employee, you must:

• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Pass background and motor vehicle checks, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers over the last 3 years
