Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking a Materials Coordinator in San Francisco to manage receiving, stocking, and shipping activities on a Monday–Friday schedule (10:00 AM–6:30 PM). You will verify merchandise, perform cycle counts, and prepare accurate documentation for shipments and inventory records.

The ideal candidate has automotive industry exposure, experience with dealer management systems or ERP/WMS tools, and comfort working around technicians.

Qualifications

• Automotive industry experience required.
• Roles include parts advisor, inventory technician or materials handler.
• Experience with a DMS (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Oracle JDE, Lightspeed).
• Comfort around technicians; pallet jack use; basic supply chain skills.
• Ability to create and manage spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack and verify merchandise to ensure accuracy.
• Use handheld RF tools to receive into WMS and document.
• Perform stock checks, cycle counts and support physical inventory.
• Pack, repack and label parts for put away, picking or shipping.
• Pick parts for orders and ensure proper shipping documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety guidelines.
• Cross-train to learn other warehouse functions.
• Distribute materials to production workers and manage requisitions.
