Job summary

Napleton Maserati of Downers Grove is seeking an Automotive Master Technician to join our busy, upscale service department. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing luxury vehicles to factory standards and building trust with customers.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years as a Master Technician, experience with high-end brands (Aston Martin or Maserati preferred), and must be available Saturdays. We offer paid training, manufacturer certifications, and a climate-controlled shop.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Master Technician.
• German or High line vehicle background required.
• Aston Martin or Maserati experience is recommended.
• Saturday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brakes, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and staff as required.
• Keep management informed of mechanical issues and maintain an organized service bay.

Located at theaward-winningAston Martin & Maserati of Downers Grove, theMaster Technicianisresponsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effective vehicle diagnosis and repair.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Master Technician required.
• German or High line vehicle background required.
• Aston Martin or Maserati experience is recommended.
• Saturday availability is required
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is process-driven
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
