Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Master Technician for the Aston Martin & Maserati of Downers Grove location. The Master Technician diagnoses and repairs to dealer and factory standards, buildingTrust with customers through accurate diagnosis and service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Master Technician.
• German or high-end vehicle background required/preferred.
• Aston Martin or Maserati experience is recommended.
• Saturday availability is required.
• Willingness to undergo a background check as per local laws.
• 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition/electrical, suspension/align, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical staff and customers.
• Continuously update technical skills through formal training to stay current with automotive technology.
• Keep store management informed of repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay.

The EdNapleton Automotive Group is looking for our next Automotive Master Technician. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing, fast-paced industry.

Located atthe award-winning Aston Martin & Maserati of Downers Grove, the Master Technician is responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effective vehicle diagnosis and repair.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Master Technician required.
• German or High line vehicle background required.
• Aston Martin or Maserati experience is recommended.
• Saturday availability is required
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is process-driven
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
