Job summary

GZQSO is seeking a Team Leader for Automotive Manufacturing on the 1st Shift in Sterling Heights, MI. You will lead a team of production associates, ensure quality standards, and keep production schedules on track while promoting a safe and productive work environment.

The ideal candidate has prior manufacturing leadership experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead by example on the production floor. This role offers a stable first-shift schedule and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience as Team Leader, Lead, or Supervisor in manufacturing.
• Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support a team of production associates during the shift.
• Ensure production goals and quality standards are consistently achieved.
• Monitor workflow and assign tasks to maximize productivity.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and support.
• Promote and enforce all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform regular quality inspections and address production issues promptly.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to resolve production concerns.
• Maintain accurate production and attendance records.
• Assist with changeovers, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
