Job summary

Central Automotive Group's Central Houston Cadillac is seeking a Main Line Technician at our new, expanded facility. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of vehicles, using diagnostic tools and communicating technical issues to customers.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, brake/steering repair, electrical diagnostics, emissions inspections, and accurate documentation. We offer a full benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have ASE certification and state inspection license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• GM or Cadillac experience is preferred.
• 2+ years of technician experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Repair brake and steering systems and diagnose electrical/electronic issues.
• Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed.
• Repair cooling components and systems including AC and engine cooling.
• Conduct emissions inspections, safety checks and state exams.
• Produce legible paperwork reflecting work performed.
• Maintain accurate records and inventory; keep a clean, safe workspace.
• Other duties as assigned.
