Job summary

Ford Lincoln of Lafayette seeks an experienced Automotive Main Line Technician to join our growing service team. You will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and complex repairs on a variety of vehicles in a modern, well-equipped shop.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of automotive repair experience with strong diagnostic skills; Ford or Lincoln certification is preferred. Sign-On Bonus up to $5000 for qualified techs. Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive repair experience required.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ford or Lincoln certification preferred (other OEM experience considered).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and complex mechanical repairs on vehicles.
• Accurately complete repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Conduct test drives to verify repairs and ensure vehicle performance.
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding diagnostics, repairs, and timelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Stay current with factory training and certifications to maintain technical proficiency.
