Job summary

Ford Lincoln of Lafayette is seeking an experienced Automotive Main Line Technician to join our growing service team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of Ford and Lincoln vehicles in a state-of-the-art shop.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of repair experience, strong diagnostic skills, and a valid driver's license. Ford or Lincoln certification is preferred, but other OEM experience is welcome. Sign-on bonus up to $5000 is offered for qualified technicians.

Qualifications

• 2+ years automotive repair experience required.
• Ford or Lincoln certification preferred (other OEMs considered).
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and repair manuals.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and complex mechanical repairs on vehicles.
• Accurately complete repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Conduct test drives to verify repairs and ensure vehicle performance.
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding diagnostics, repairs, and timelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Stay current with factory training and certifications to maintain technical proficiency.
