Job summary

Ford Lincoln of Lafayette is seeking an experienced Automotive Main Line Technician to join our growing service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles.

Ford or Lincoln certification is preferred, but technicians with experience in other OEM brands are encouraged to apply. Ask about our Sign-On Bonus up to $5000 for Qualified Ford Main Line Techs/Mechanics!

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of automotive repair experience required.
• Ford or Lincoln certification preferred; other OEM experience considered.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills; ability to read and interpret repair manuals/technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and complex mechanical repairs on vehicles.
• Accurately complete repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Conduct test drives to verify repairs and ensure vehicle performance.
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding diagnostics, repairs, and timelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Stay current with factory training and certifications to maintain technical proficiency.
