Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Tallahassee, FL is hiring an Automotive Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on a fleet of newer vehicles. You will handle oil changes, fluid services, tire work, and basic repairs while following safety standards.

You’ll gain exposure to multiple brands and systems, with on-site work and opportunities to pursue ASE certification and career growth within a large rental fleet.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or prior automotive maintenance experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work for long periods in a mechanical shop.
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• This position requires regular on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely.
• 6 months auto maintenance experience or completion of an automotive technical school program is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on our fleet, including oil changes, fluid services, tire changes, tire rotations, and basic repairs.
• Work on a diverse fleet across multiple manufacturers to gain exposure to various systems and technologies.
