Avis Budget Group in Orlando, FL is seeking an automotive technician to perform preventive maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles. You will follow safety standards and complete tasks such as oil changes, fluid services, tire changes, rotations, and basic repairs, assisting senior technicians as your skills grow.

This on-site role emphasizes hands-on learning with opportunities toward ASE certification.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or prior automotive maintenance experience.
• Able to work in a noisy mechanical shop with safety procedures.
• Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• This is an on-site position and cannot be performed remotely.
• 6 months auto maintenance experience or completion of an automotive tech program is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, fluid services, tire changes/rotations, and basic repairs.
• Work on a diverse fleet across multiple manufacturers to gain exposure to different systems.
• Help reduce downtime and ensure vehicles are safe and reliable for customers.
