Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking a proactive automotive technician to perform preventive maintenance on our fleet, including oil changes, fluid services, tire changes and rotations, and basic repairs across multiple brands. You will work with newer vehicles, follow safety procedures, and gain hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or prior automotive maintenance experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on a fleet, including oil changes and fluid services.
• Replace tires, rotate tires, and complete basic repairs as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and assist senior technicians as skills grow.
• Work on a diverse fleet across multiple brands, ensuring vehicles are safe and reliable.
