Job Description

Purpose:

The Lubrication Technician will be responsible for lubricating cars efficiently and thoroughly, coordinating with the Production Foreman to carry out their responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform all lubrication services.
2. Conduct thorough checks of customers' vehicles (battery, lights, tires) and refer any needed repairs or preventive maintenance to the Service Advisor.
3. Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment.
4. Receive repair orders from the Service Salesman or Production Foreman and proceed to service lift.
5. Lubricate the entire vehicle while inspecting for other repair needs.
6. Ensure the customer’s vehicle remains clean.
7. Verify all equipment, especially lifts, is in proper working order.
8. Use appropriate amounts of materials and supplies.
9. Follow all safety policies and procedures, reporting any accidents immediately to a manager or supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• At least two years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership.
• Manual dexterity and good judgment.
• Ability to perform duties safely and demonstrate passing pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.
• Legal authorization to work in the USA.
