Job summary

Group 1 Ford of Pensacola is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician to perform lubrication services (oil changes, fluids, filters) and assist with basic maintenance in a fast-paced, safety-conscious shop.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform all lubrication services safely (oil changes, fluids and filters).
• Inspect vehicle and refer issues to Service Advisor.
• Operate and maintain lubrication equipment.
• Keep customer cars clean and shop organized.
• Follow safety policies and ensure lift is in proper order.
• Demonstrate Group 1 values in all interactions.

Overview

Group 1 Automotive is a fast-growing leader in automotive retail, and we are looking to add qualified Automotive Lube Technician at Group 1 Ford of Pensacola.

Responsibilities

• Perform all lubrication services (changing oil transmission fluids and filters) in a safe manner
• Perform thorough check of customer’s car (i.e. check additional fluid levels, battery, lights, tire pressure) referring all needed repairs and preventive maintenance to the Service Advisor
• Operates and maintains all lubrication equipment
• Ensure that the customer’s car is kept clean
• Maintain an organized and neat shop area
• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
• Make certain all equipment is in proper working order, especially the lift
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors
