Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Lube Technician to inspect arriving vehicles, perform minor repairs, and ensure each unit meets safety and saleable standards. You will use hand tools and basic equipment to address defects, drive vehicles to test operations, and assist with optional equipment installation as requested by the dealer.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, 6–12 months of related work, and a valid driver's license with the ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for safety compliance and obvious defects during delivery to the dealer.
• Perform minor repairs or adjustments to place vehicles in saleable condition.
• Operate basic power tools and hand tools to service and adjust components.
• Test and observe engine, steering, brakes, and transmission operation after servicing.
• Install optional equipment as requested by the customer or dealer.
