Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Non-Certified Technician to inspect and service vehicles arriving at the dealer, performing minor repairs to ensure saleable condition.

You will work with factory training and OEM certification support, gain hands-on experience, and have opportunities for advancement across service, sales, management roles nationwide.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • General mechanical skills expected.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
  • Ability to operate manual and power tools safely.

Responsibilities

  • Sign acceptance for each vehicle delivered.
  • Inspect vehicles for safety and defects.
  • Inspect surfaces for chips and scratches in paint.
  • Start engine and drive vehicle to test operation.
  • Install optional equipment and perform minor mechanical repairs.
