Job summary

Foss Motor Company in Liberal, KS is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician to perform fluid checks and basic maintenance, including oil changes, transmission fluid checks, belts/filters inspections, and air level/gauge checks.

Qualifications

• Ford Certification is a plus.
• Previous Ford dealership experience is a plus.
• Identify problems quickly with automotive knowledge.
• Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment.
• High school diploma or GED held.
• Technical degree preferred and ASE certifications a plus.
• Minimum 1 year in service department.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair procedures.

Responsibilities

• Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly.
• Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem.
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
• Repair or replace worn parts ahead of breakdown or damage.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform tasks.

Foss Motor Company is looking for a new Automotive Lube Technician to join our team!This role will mainly be focused on fluid checks and basic maintenance. Typically, a Lube Service Technician will change a vehicle's oil, check the transmission fluid and other fluid levels, inspect various belts and filters, and check air levels and gauges.

Lube Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly
