Job summary

Sames Auto Group in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking an entry-level Automotive Technician - Level C (Lube Technician) to perform basic maintenance and inspections while learning on-the-job.

You'll support shop efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction, with hands-on training and opportunities to advance along a technician career path. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; prior automotive experience helpful but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent (or currently pursuing).
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance services, including:
• Oil and filter changes
• Tire rotations and tire pressure checks
• Fluid inspections and top-offs
• Battery testing and replacement
• Basic vehicle inspections
• Assist B- and A-Level Technicians with vehicle preparation and shop support tasks.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and report findings accurately.
• Learn proper use of tools, equipment, and service manuals.
• Follow safety guidelines and dealership procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Participate in training programs and skill development.
• Document completed work accurately in dealership systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS
