Job summary

McKinney Automotive in Easley, SC is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician to join our team. You will perform oil changes, filters, fluid checks, and basic vehicle maintenance in a fast-paced shop and contribute to high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive or lube technician experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to safely lift and handle equipment and work on your feet for extended periods.
• ASE certification is a plus but not required.

• Inspect and top off vehicle fluids.
• Perform tire rotations, tire pressure checks, and basic tire services.
• Inspect brakes, belts, hoses, batteries, and other vehicle components.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify potential maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all shop safety procedures and manufacturer service recommendations.
• Communicate vehicle concerns and recommended services to service advisors or customers.
• Properly document work performed on each vehicle.
