Job summary

McKinney Mazda in Easley, SC is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician to join our service team. This role focuses on oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and routine maintenance in a fast-paced, customer-service oriented shop.

You will work with a skilled team to ensure high-quality workmanship, safety, and efficiency while building automotive skills and career growth within a professional environment.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive or lube technician experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance.
• ASE certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and routine vehicle maintenance
• Replace oil, air, cabin, and fuel filters as needed
• Inspect and top off vehicle fluids
• Perform tire rotations, tire pressure checks, and basic tire services
• Inspect brakes, belts, hoses, batteries, and other vehicle components
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify potential maintenance needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all shop safety procedures and manufacturer service recommendations
• Communicate vehicle concerns and recommended services to service advisors or customers
• Properly document work performed on each vehicle

• Ability to safely lift and handle equipment and work on your feet for extended periods
• ASE certification is a plus but not required
