Job summary

McKinney Dodge in Easley, SC is seeking a motivated Automotive Lube Technician to join our team. You will perform oil changes, replace filters, inspect fluids, and assist with basic vehicle maintenance to keep our customers on the road.

We value quality workmanship, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced shop. Candidates with prior lube experience are preferred; ASE certification is a plus but not required. The position offers training opportunities and a supportive, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive or lube technician experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to safely lift and handle equipment and work on your feet for extended periods.
• ASE certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and routine vehicle maintenance
• Replace oil, air, cabin, and fuel filters as needed
• Inspect and top off vehicle fluids
• Perform tire rotations, tire pressure checks, and basic tire services
• Inspect brakes, belts, hoses, batteries, and other vehicle components
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify potential maintenance needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all shop safety procedures and manufacturer service recommendations
• Communicate vehicle concerns and recommended services to service advisors or customers
• Properly document work performed on each vehicle
