Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, lead a team, and drive customer care and satisfaction.

The role emphasizes skilled diagnostic work, mentoring teammates, and ongoing paid training to stay current with automotive technology. The position requires ASE certifications and a valid driver's license, with a compensation model reflecting flat-rate pay.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair and alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• Able to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications: brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through ongoing paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment.
