LutherMazda is seeking experienced Journeyman Technicians in a fast-paced, high-volume shop. OEM certifications are encouraged and scheduling is flexible to support growth and training. The role offers a commission-based pay structure with hourly rates of $35–$70 depending on experience and performance.

The team values collaboration, safety, and ongoing certification, with a focus on high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction in a busy dealership environment.

Qualifications

• AES certifications are ideal.
• Candidates should have a strong automotive background.
• Demonstrated teamwork abilities are valuable.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Clean and valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work as specified on the repair order.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to test components and systems.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, brakes, etc.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional services and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under manufacturer warranty specifications.

Job description

We are seeking experienced Journeyman Technicians to join our team. Our high volume shop is fast-paced, productive and a great work atmosphere! Our small team structures allow for flexible scheduling, ongoing training and plenty of work to share. OEM certifications are encouraged!

$35-$70/hour (Commission-Based)

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal
• Strong automotive background
• Strong teamwork skills
• Willing to submit to a background check
• Must have clean & valid driver's license
