Job summary

Luther Burnsville Hyundai in Minnesota is seeking experienced Journeyman Technicians for our high-volume, fast-paced shop. OEM certifications are encouraged and will be valued during performance reviews.

You will diagnose, repair, and test vehicle systems, drive with a service advisor, and contribute to a culture of safety and quality. Compensation ranges from $28 to $60 per hour plus incentives.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal and valued.
• Strong automotive background is required.
• Good teamwork and collaboration are essential.
• Willingness to undergo a background check.
• Must have a clean and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to test components and systems.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical, etc.).
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional service needs and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Job description

We are seeking experienced Journeyman Technicians to join our team. Our high volume shop is fast-paced, productive and a great work atmosphere! OEM certifications are encouraged!

$28-$60/hour (Incentive-Based)

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal
• Strong automotive background
• Strong teamwork skills
• Willing to submit to a background check
• Must have clean & valid driver's license
