Job summary

Honda of Ames is seeking an Automotive Internet Sales Manager to lead the Internet Sales team and drive appointments. Based in Ames, IA, the role requires flexibility to support evenings, weekends, and holidays, with onsite work at the dealership.

You will oversee lead responses, appointment setting, and CRM updates while reporting to the Sales Manager and General Manager. Prior automotive or sales exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of sales, customer service, business development, or automotive experience.
• Comfort using CRM systems, email, chat, and basic computer tools.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Internet Sales Consultants in meeting department goals.
• Respond quickly to customer calls, chats, emails, and online inquiries.
• Convert sales leads into confirmed appointments or connect customers with a Sales Consultant.
• Maintain accurate customer notes, follow-up activity, and appointments in the CRM.
• Monitor lead activity, appointment results, and daily follow-up performance.
