Capitol Nissan & Infiniti is seeking an experienced Automotive HR & Payroll Administrator to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented HR and payroll professional who understands the unique demands of automotive dealership payroll, commission structures, employee benefits, and HR administration.
DEALERSHIP HR & PAYROLL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
CDK PAYROLL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
The ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy, highly accurate, and comfortable handling confidential employee information while working closely with dealership management and department leadership.
Process accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll for a high-volume dealership
Manage commission payroll, bonuses, incentives, and variable compensation
Review payroll for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Maintain employee files, records, and HR documentation
Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding
Administer employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
Assist employees and managers with HR and payroll-related questions
Support employee relations and HR processes
Prepare payroll reports, audits, and related documentation
Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and employee information
Partner with department managers and dealership leadership
Help ensure compliance with applicable employment and payroll requirements
Support additional HR and administrative functions as needed
2+ years of HR and payroll experience within an automotive dealership REQUIRED
Hands-on CDK payroll experience REQUIRED
Strong understanding of dealership payroll and compensation structures
Experience with commission-based payroll strongly preferred
Knowledge of dealership bonuses, incentives, and variable pay plans
Understanding of payroll regulations and employment compliance
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organization and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High level of professionalism and confidentiality
Ability to work independently while collaborating with dealership leadership
$90,000–$110,000+ Per Year DOE
