Job summary

The City of Lenoir is seeking a skilled individual to perform repairs and routine maintenance on heavy trucks and equipment. Candidates must have automotive repair experience and should be able to use various tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.

This role requires a valid NC Driver’s License, with CDL preferred, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. The position comes with benefits including paid holidays, vacation days, and insurance coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive repair and maintenance is required.
• Some knowledge of welding and hydraulics preferred.
• Possession of a valid NC Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs and perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Assist other employees with larger tasks.
• General shop cleaning and housekeeping.
