Job summary

Linder Industrial Machinery Company in Raleigh, NC is seeking a skilled heavy equipment technician to repair construction machines and components in shop or field. You will diagnose issues, order parts, document repairs, and ensure quality through testing and safety compliance.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and an Associate Degree in Diesel or Equipment Technology or four years apprenticeship. Collaboration with team and ongoing training are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Associate Degree in Diesel or Equipment Technology or four (4) Years of apprenticeship experience
• Technician Classification is based on experience, knowledge, and competence

Responsibilities

• Repairs equipment and components, including developing a repair plan and sequence.
• Determining necessary parts, materials, tooling, etc.
• Performing repairs properly and safely, with quality assurance testing of repair components or systems.
• Maintains and completes all necessary reports for parts ordering, daily service reports, and work order closure.
• Communicates progress of repairs with direct supervisor as required.
• Retrieves and returns parts, materials, and special tools through the company’s systems.
• Maintains work area and service vehicle in a safe and clean manner.
• Follows all company policies and safety guidelines.
