Job summary

Lisk Trucking Inc. in North Carolina is seeking a Heavy-Duty Truck and Trailer Diesel Technician for a full-time role in the Wadesboro area.

The job requires diagnosing and repairing diesel trucks and trailers, following OEM procedures, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Qualified applicants should have 2 years of diesel maintenance experience (or trade school) and a valid driver’s license; pre-employment drug testing is required.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years’ experience performing vehicle maintenance or a combination of trade school for heavy duty vehicle maintenance and experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must possess necessary tools to perform assigned tasks.
• Pre-employment drug test/background check.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and Maintains both diesel class 8 Heavy Trucks and Dry Bulk Trailers.
• Read and document repair processes to company standards.
• Work within a team and assist others.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform PM procedures on tractors and trailers.
• Diagnose system components including electrical, air, brake/ABS, and emissions.
• Replace faulty parts and complete tasks timely.
• Perform valve and injector overhead adjustments per OEM procedures.
• Maintain SCR, DOC, DPF, and DEF systems.
